Cabbage & Sausage Saute

Ingredients

1 small head cabbage, chopped into bite size pieces.
1 12-ounce package smoked chicken sausage, sliced into rounds
1 large onion, finely sliced
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 cups spinach leaves (optional)
olive oil
salt and pepper

Cooking Instructions

1. Heat a couple of tablespoons of olive oil in a large, wide skillet.
2. Add the sausage and saute until browned.
3. Add everything else except the salt and pepper.
4. Cook, stirring frequently, until the cabbage is done to your liking. I cooked mine about 15 minutes.
5. Salt and pepper to taste before serving.
